Conversations
Notes on Conversations.
A conversation refers to any point where an NPC engaged with me via a dialog box. (Or in some instances, when I heard a voice in my head telling me something. [Zelda tends to do this in several games.]) I did not count instances where NPCs would yell at me as I ran past, as many do in Breath of the Wild.
As you might expect, there were times in many of the games where I talked to the same person twice, sometimes in a row due to either button mashing or not paying attention.
Occasionally I referred to this as "people talked to," but it wasn't exclusively people with whom Link has conversations. Any sentient being able to communicate with Link was counted.
