I got the idea for this series in the later part of 2008. As the spring of 2009 rolled around I had finally worked out the series in my head, on paper and in reality. I initially uploaded the first photo to flickr and posted a link in the MacHeist forum in a post titled “Oops…”. The rest of the photos were uploaded and posted over the course of a week. The feedback I got was amazing. Here are some of my favorite responses:

The details behind the photos are up for speculation. Only a handful of people know the painstaking effort that went into the creation of these pictures, but it is the mystery of the photo which lends the magic. And so, I leave it up for you to decide, or if you prefer, to suspend your disbelief and simply allow it to be.
