March 6th, 2007 : Nobody I Know
His utter assurance amuses me. He’s cocky, arrogant, stubborn and lives as if he is king of the world. It amuses me just about as much as it annoys me. There are times when it’s hard to be in the same room with the kid. He is an expert on everything, despite the fact he really knows nothing. If you ask anyone a question, while he is standing by, he will be sure to give you his opinion, despite the fact you were not even talking to him. Some people say he will grow up. Others don’t say anything at all, but everyone shakes their head at his confounding cluelessness. One would think that he might at some point come to some sort of understanding that he isn’t perfect, but alas, this is not always the case.
People stopped talking to him, associating with him, but to no avail. He’s the type of person who would come and sit down next to you and immediately begin talking, not even noticing that you are actually holding a conversation with another person sitting across from you. Perhaps he is just deaf, I know people have told him to go away, to get lost, kids are mean to him. He takes it all as a joke though, and continues in his annoying habits, never once realizing that they are really meaning what they are saying.
Ignorance is bliss, I must say this is true, for he is always in a good mood. I do wonder though, what kind of shock he will go though, should he ever come to the realization of the truth. It almost makes one feel sorry for him. In fact, I have had conversations with people about ways to perhaps befriend him and be nice to him, only to have him sit down in the middle of the conversation and through his normal demeanor completely negate all good feelings toward him.
This is not to say that there is no hope for our poor acquaintance, but only that there is very little hope until he descends into our realm of reality. It is now at this point, that I regrettably inform you that he has nothing to do with the plot what-so-ever, and thus I have successfully wasted a good deal of time explain an unnecessary character in great detail.
