Today’s Quote

I had a good quote today, one of those ones that was made up on the spot and actually turned out really nice.

“I like to set my hopes high, so when they disappear from under my feet, I have more time to think about them before I hit the ground.” – Philip Wels

Halo 3

Okay, so I don’t want to spoil the game for those who haven’t played it, but the game is short. I beat it in 13 minutes and 17 seconds. You start off, you fight some baddies, and then Master Chief dies. The end.

I know, it’s not quite the ending I was expecting either. It seemed to leave a lot of setup hanging. Oh well, overall I’d say it’s a pretty good game.

Homework and Movies

Shoe 1

Math is time consuming. In a few short months I will have achieved a math minor in my studies at college. For the past few weeks I have been discovering “Real Analysis” and all the joys that go along with it. It’s not for the faint of heart, it’s like math to a whole new level.

With all the math I’m doing I haven’t had time to do much movie work, but I’m happy to announce that last night a friend and I (some of you may know Kurt), spontaneously decided to shoot a short film, and in less than two hours we created a concept and shot the footage. Hopefully in the next few weeks we can pull out a few edits of our work. We both will do an edit, and I’m going to try an alternate ending as well. Shoe 2

In the near future I plan to spend a few days revamping and cleaning up the code on my website and finally fix my Facebook app so that it works for everyone like it is suppose to. Hopefully I can work this into my schedule, but I’m becoming more efficient with homework so it shouldn’t be a problem.

If anyone is actually out there reading my blog, I will have some new articles to put up over the next several months. I am writing for the BLC Scroll, which is the student newspaper on campus. I have my own tech column so if you like tech, I’ll post my entries on my blog a few days after the paper comes out.

Also, if there are any video game players out there who like to write, I am looking for a few people to help contribute to a certain website of mine devoted to video game characters. If anyone is interested, drop me a line. It’s all volunteer work for now, unless we can start attracting a crowd and make some ad revenue. I guess it’s up to you.

Anyway, until laters!

Pastel iPods

Okay, seriously! When Steve said they were “getting ready for the holiday season” I didn’t think he meant Easter. (Kodak tried that one… does anyone know if it worked?)

What’s up with the color? I mean, these things will blend in perfectly to a ladies tank-top. I suppose it might be a good summer color, but can we get a fall lineup or something?

(At least they didn’t bring back the gold.)

I like Photos

Wet Morning GloryI think my site looks better when I have a nice little photo in the corner. This is one of my current favorites that I uploaded to flickr.

Anyway, I’m in the process of reading up on all kinds of cool technology news, and trying to keep making more t-shirts and greeting cards, all of which is happening in my spare time between classes. (Which, I happen to have more of today, which is kinda nice.)

Now I’m happy because my site looks better with a nice photo. (If the photo looks a bit de-saturated, I’m sorry but your probably using a bad browser (I know I am… stupid Camino…).

Take it easy all!
